BIO:

Gypsy jazz guitarist, Stochelo Rosenberg born 19 February 1968 in Helmond, Netherlands is the lead guitarist of the Rosenberg Trio. He started playing guitar when he was just 13 under the tutelage of his father and uncle. At the age of 12, Stochelo was awarded the prize for best musician at a child's musical contest on Dutch television.

Stochelo formed a band with his cousins and won several contests when he was young. His musical hero is of course Django Reinhardt, though he doesn't hesitate to play jazz standards and some of pop as well - all in manouche style started by Django. In 1989 Stochelo, Nous′che and Nonnie, the third cousin, recorded their debut album Seresta. In 1991, Stochelo Trio performed at the Montreal Jazz Festival and since then has performed on some of the most reputed stages along the world's greatest musicians, including a memorable show at New York's Carnegie Hall for legendary violinist, Stephane Grapelli's 85th birthday celebration, and many other magic moments. You can even pick up some tips from his online, Gypsy Guitar Academy.

Mozes Rosenberg, Stochelo's brother, grew up around some of the greatest gypsy jazz players in the world. Like many Gypsies, he started playing guitar at an early age. He’s recorded with Stochelo and Jimmy Rosenberg, and worked with Paco de Lucia and Joe Zawinul to name but a few.

Mozes is a sensitive, all-round player who has that undeniable Rosenberg touch. At 36 Mozes Rosenberg already has 20 years’ experience and he is one of Gypsy Swing guitar’s newest gems. A brilliant heir to the Dutch informal ‘Gypsy guitar academy’, Mozes has achieved the development of his own voice despite the obvious connection to Stochelo Rosenberg’s legacy. A master of every modern guitar player’s skills arpeggio, chord, and single note playing, Mozes illustrates himself with long, floating and sharp choruses, sometimes acrobatic, always remarkably formed and musical. If he occasionally blows proper musical torpedoes, he also knows that poetry lies in gentleness.”

Filippo Dall’Asta is an Italian Gypsy jazz guitarist, composer, bandleader and arranger, mixing the sounds of Gypsy jazz with bebop and classical music, to forge his own style of progressive guitar playing. Filippo began playing at the age of 5 in Parma, Italy, and  studied music in his native country as well as Germany, France, Holland and India. In 2010, at the age of 23, he arrived in the UK. He has toured and recorded with hundreds of artists such as Mozes Rosenberg, Lollo Meier, Giacomo Smith, John Wheatcroft, Duved Dunajevsky, Rares Morarescu, Gypsy Dynamite, Harp Bazaar, Tara Minton Björk, Mehboob Nadeem, The Onironauts and many more. His touring resume covers Germany, India, Italy, France, Spain, England, Malta and Russia, with notable appearances at The Royal Albert Hall, the House of Parliament, the Tower of London, the Union Chapel, and many festivals in France and Italy.

Filippo released his first solo album in December 2018: The album was praised as "one of the best instrumental albums of 2018" by LA Music Critic Awards.

In 2020, for his side project "Gypsy Dynamite", Filippo released an album of 10 original songs fusing Gypsy Jazz, Bebop, Latin and Mediterranean melodies. The album received several rave reviews amongst which "An irresistible and unforgettable charm"  by Jazz Journal UK. Filippo is currently working on his next album, which will be released 2023
