We’re bowled over by this epic line up from pianist Alex Webb. Introducing, Quintet Blue feat. Denys Baptiste & Nigel Price. Baptiste and Price are one of the UK’s greatest jazz improvisers.

Together they celebrate the bluesy, swinging jazz of the 1950s and 60s, with a repertoire of pieces from Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell, Ahmad Jamal and others, as well as more recent works from Charlie Haden’s Quartet West. Quintet Blue is completed by two young lions of the UK scene, bassist Mikele Montoli, and drummer Shaney Forbes of Empirical.
