Join Freddie, with friends Chris Bland on keys, Luke Fowler on bass, Floyer Sydenham on drums, and Jessica Bullen on sax for a joyful evening of jazz standards and original compositions. Expect good vibes, great music-making, the odd vocal impression and some of Freddie’s Dad's bad jokes!

The man can, act, skat, sing, and play the trumpet! Freddie was born from an artistic family, joining a local jazz choir as a child, sent him on his way to becoming the ambitious, and talented performer you’ll see on stage. His vocal talents have seen him play at some of the most sought after concert halls, with international operas and the NYJO from Carnegie Hall, Glyndebourne, and the Royal Opera House to name but a few.

Fronting a band of new and exciting young talent, Freddie Benedict & Friends, is set to be a night speckled with some surprises, including a couple of our new favourites, ‘Colours’ and ‘Star-crossed Lover.’

Our interview with Freddie Benedict:

What can the audience except from your event?
Good vibes, great music-making, with odd vocal impression and some of my Dad's bad jokes.

Name three of your top influences:
Kurt Elling for his vocal improvisation, James Taylor for his lyricism, Stevie Wonder for his unconventional harmonies

And lastly, if you could be wined and dined by one of your musical idols, who would it be?
Frank Sinatra
