Wrapped up in satin, draped in furs and dripping in diamonds, Kerri Layton and her live jazz band bring us an evening of Swinging Christmas Jazz, a stunning vocal tribute to Ella Fitzgeralds 'Ella Wishes You A Swingin' Christmas' with Kerri's own songs, unique arrangements and Northern charm mixed in.
Live the sentimental golden era of Christmas Hollywood for real! Leave your worries (and snowy boots) at the door, step inside and back in time, grab a glass of eggnog and settle down with your loved one, the perfect Christmas date night, for this festive evening of vintage inspired jazz.
Vocal Priestess and Hoodoo Woman Kerri Layton is an internationally renowned vocalist and performance artist; she currently lives and works in London where she produces shows and bands under her label Dixiebird Records and features regularly at cabaret and jazz clubs across the city.
She has performed for the likes of The BBC's Best Of British Awards, Alexandra Palace, Hackney Empire, Stage 3, The Savoy Hotel, The Andaz, Ibiza's many exclusive 5 star beach resorts, Ski and Winter resorts and cabarets in Germany, France and Switzerland, Andy Mackay (Roxy Music) The Royal British Legion, Bollinger Champagne, Glastonbury Festival and a growing list of private events and international A-List clients. In 2018 she was a finalist in the Peter Whittingham Jazz Awards for her original composition 'Lady Of The Dead' which is available for download and streaming on all major platforms. Her band are made up of some of London's finest jazz musicians who between them have played for Ronnie Scott’s, The Hideaway Club, Bjork, Madonna and more.
